Super Lawyers Recognizes Three Attorneys with Gainesville’s Avera & Smith Law Firm

GAINESVILLE FL; January 14, 2021 – Three attorneys with longtime Gainesville-based law firm Avera & Smith have been honored by Super Lawyers for 2020. Super Lawyers annually identifies outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have achieved significant peer recognition and professional accomplishment. The in-depth selection process includes independent research, peer nominations/evaluations.

Mark Avera, Lance Avera and Benjamin Steinberg are the three Avera & Smith attorneys named by Super Lawyers for 2020. “It’s an honor to be named to the Super Lawyers listing, particularly given that our peers in the legal profession are so deeply involved in our selection,” said Mark Avera, Managing Partner, Avera & Smith, speaking for all three awardees. “Our dedication is a natural result of the responsibility we feel to our clients, and vigorously representing their best interests. We also have a strong belief in our legal system and the law.”

Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
