Avera & Smith Hires Associate Attorney Jared Comstock

March 31, 2016 – Gainesville, FL; Longtime Gainesville-based law firm Avera & Smith today announced the hiring of attorney Jared Comstock as an associate attorney with the firm.

“Jared is a diligent, impressive attorney who will be an important contributor to our firm and clients,” said Mark Avera, Partner, Avera & Smith. “He will focus on personal injury, workers’ compensation and creditors’ rights cases.”

Comstock joins Avera & Smith from a Gainesville-area law firm, where he spent the first four years of his career handling creditors’ rights, including landlord-tenant matters, pre- and post judgment collections, homeowners and condominium association law, foreclosures, and child support arrearage enforcement.

Jared attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law and graduated in the top three percent of his class in 2011. During his time in law school, Jared was a member of the Florida Coastal Law Review and earned Book Awards in Property I, Residential Real Estate Transactions, and Advanced Florida Bar Studies. Prior to law school, he graduated cum laude with a degree in finance from Georgia Southern University, where he was a member of the baseball team, the Student Athlete Advisory Board, and the Honors Program.
