Vallejos-Nichols, who joined the firm in 1996, oversees its tobacco litigation division and has represented clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases of almost every kind. She has played a major role in Avera & Smith’s multi-million dollar tobacco case verdicts over many years, among other case wins. Vallejos-Nichols was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994 after graduating with Honors from the University of Florida College of Law the same year.
